Talk:Install SSH

Whoever edited the page to merge my Kerberos framework fix into the main text, thanks very much!

Some edits to this (the "talk") page: I've deleted some old text here from "Dincio" that was a plea for help, since it was written back before I fixed the instructions (he was losing because he was using sshv2 without the kerb framework fix).

And yes, the firewall is off by default on the ATV, so the steps for that weren't needed.

Similarly, deleted text from "Mrfett" (correct instruction, wrong trerminology, but already in the revised instructions).

Deleted discussion of OpenSSHd: It's referred to on the main page at the bottom.

Dropbear?

Didn't anyone try to install/run dropbear instead of OpenSSH? Massa 01:39, 11 June 2007 (CEST)

1.1 issues?

Anyone else having issues with sshd crashing a 1.1 ATV? Mine stays up for a couple minutes, then sshd dies taking the whole system with it. ProfessaFresh 01:10, 25 June 2007 (CEST)

Update: it was my version of shlight that was killing things. I built it from source instead of using the precompiled binary and that seems to have fixed things. ProfessaFresh 03:48, 25 June 2007 (CEST)

Tutorial valid for timecapsule too?

Is this tutorial is valid also for timecapsule? If not do you know where I can found one? My configuration: MacBook (Intel), OS X 10.5.5

Mounting the Apple TV: How To?

Under Preparations this guide says:

It should be in your filesystem at /Volumes/OSBoot.

So, How does one get this onto the filesystem?
