Should the items in the menu be in the same order as their keys? If I have items 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. I get something like 2, 4, 3, 5, 0, 1 displayed on screen. I want to automatically build the plist file and have the items in a specific order but the more items I had the more bizarre the ordering seems to be. --Jb8748 15:51, 20 November 2007 (CET)
Does anyone know if this works with a patchsticked Take 2?
- Currently it does not work with Take2 update. If I may add my own feature request for Take 2: Left menu item would be Applications, right menu items would be the applications registered in the plist (preferably in the order of the plist? see above). - Maraklov 22:02, 23 February 2008 (CET)
VLC and remote control
In the 1.1 sample configuration file, VLC is launched using the remotewatcher option. This does not correspond with "This option is not recommened for applications that have decent support for remote control, ..." as noted in the Readme.txt. This creates some confusion as VLC seems to have decent support for remote control - everything except quitting works without remotewatcher.
A second issue is when launching VLC with a RTSP URL, and it takes some time to buffer the stream, the remote watcher window is displayed on top of the video until one either forwards or rewinds one track.
Finally, remotewatcher is also referred to as remotehelper - this is also a source of confusion.
Is anyone working on a update for Take2? I would be willing to help update the coded if needed... --Dr Omega 19:47, 7 March 2008 (CET)
- No work is being done on this at the moment as there is currently no killing finder/ripstop/watchdog tricks under Take 2 to allow programs to run on screen.
