Talk:Mount a Remote Drive via AFP
It says that /mach can't be read... well, on Mac OS X (10.4.9 build 8P2137), that's a symlink to /mach.sym, which is automatically created when Mac OS X boots. I believe that it can be safely deleted when the system is offline. If it were to be created, that would at least solve the error messages.
Is it just me, because I cannot find the /sbin/mount_afp file in the combo update. All other mount_* are there but just not the mount_afp.
