Any chance of adopting Datamaker to run on the AppleTV itself (preferably as a plugin)? I believe that PHP can be installed on the ATV - as described here: [[XAMMP_-_Apache/MySQL/PHP5/Perl]]

It is far easier to develop as it is know. Thing is, I don't know Objective-C. The current app is just an amateur job, with some bits of PHP and AppleScript merged together thanks to InterfaceBuilder. What I do is mount the appleTV on my Mac using MacFusion, so I have full access to my Movies directory, as well as to my external disks on the appleTV (through symlinks). But the code is free, so if someone wants to try to make a new plugin for the aTV with parts of my code, feel free! --[[User:Tego|Tego]] 16:16, 16 April 2008 (CEST)
