This page will cover how to manually install deb files on mac and windows, I'm assuming if you use linux you better know how to use ssh and scp!!

Installing Deb Files Manually from windows

1. Download putty.exe & psscp.exe from putty downloads and put them on in your Desktop folder

2. Put the target deb file in your Desktop folder (referred to as TARGET_DEB later)

3. Open Start Menu (or whatever it is in newer versions if thats gone- Im on Windows 7) and type 'cmd' (no quotes)

4. 'cd Desktop' (no quotes)

5. Find the IP Address of your iPhone / AppleTV (Settings - > WIFI -> (Your Network) -> (I) [on iOS] - or Settings - > General -> Network (on tvOS) (referred to as IP_ADDRESS) later

6. pscp.exe TARGET_DEB root@IP_ADDRESS:/var/root/

7. putty.exe root@IP_ADDRESS

8. a new terminal window should open asking for a password (default is 'alpine' if you never changed it)

9. 'dpkg -i TARGET_DEB' (no quotes)

Installing Deb Files Manually on macOS

1. Put the target deb file in your Desktop folder (referred to as TARGET_DEB later)

3. Open Terminal app in /Applications/Utilities

4. 'cd ~/Desktop' (no quotes)

5. Find the IP Address of your iPhone / AppleTV (Settings - > WIFI -> (Your Network) -> (I) [on iOS] - or Settings - > General -> Network (on tvOS) (referred to as IP_ADDRESS) later

6. 'scp TARGET_DEB root@IP_ADDRESS:/var/root/' (no quotes)

7. ssh root@IP_ADDRESS

8. you might be prompted for a password, 'alpine' is the default

9. 'dpkg -i TARGET_DEB' (no quotes)

10. 'uicache' (no quotes)

11. Profit
