Talk:Booting from a USB Thumbdrive
I've put up an md5 for the image. Just to double check, I copied the image from the textbox on the page, base64 decoded it, and gave it the suggested filename and extensions. I've md5summed both the version I've offered plus the two other versions available and each has the same md5.

Yeah, that's correct. I should have included that in the first place - thanks for taking care of it Doctor god 09:13, 4 April 2007 (CEST)
Excellent. Just checking, since I'm hosting this, is it all 100% legal? I notice you haven't indicated otherwise so I assume so. --Dobedobedoh
Yes, everything is perfectly legal. There's nothing in the image except for the two partition tables and the FAT32 header. Doctor god 09:13, 4 April 2007 (CEST)

It would be nice if you could add a step by step tutorial on how to create your own drive structure as to allow people to make images/partiton maps of varying sizes. -- Jason 00:00, 5 April 2007 (CEST)
Operation not supported.
I've done as your tutorial tells to do, on a snow leopard mac. I only can get this message form the process of duplicating the image to the usb drive.
